Retaliate the killings in the very language terrorists understand - Dr. Swamy.

Bandula Jayasekara in Colombo, SLT 11.20 P.M Thursday 18 August 2005 . Janata Party Leader and a former Indian Law Minister , Dr. Subramanian Swamy has blasted the governments of Sri Lanka and India for allowing the killers of Laksman Kadirgamar and Rajiv Gandhi to go unpunished, reports said. He had said that the killings have to be retaliated in the very language the terrorists understand. In a statement issued Dr Swamy has said Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar was killed because he was perceived as a pro-India and a Tamil who did not care for the threats of the LTTE. He had emphasized, "The assassination of the Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Mr. Kadiragamar, obviously by the terrorist organization, the LTTE, must be retaliated in a language that terrorists understand." The report said Dr. Subramanian Swamy was highly critical of the statement made by the Sri Lankan government : "It is a shame that the Sri Lanka government has already begun to waver and wobble after some routine condemnation of the assassination. The government spokesperson has declared after the assassination that peace talks with the LTTE will continue!" He had questioned if the Sri Lanka government spokesperson's announcement regarding the continuance of peace talks and if the Sri Lankans were suffering from "Stockholm Disease" or the "Norway Stupor"?" He had pointed out that Kadiragamar was a Minister and a Tamil, and yet the LTTE had killed him.
